Taiwan STAG unveils handheld notebook prototype called the MTube!

“The Science and Technology Advisory Group (STAG) of Taiwan’s Executive Yuan on October 8 unveiled a prototype handheld notebook, the MTube, with the aim of pushing the MTube into commercial production starting 2009, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.The handheld MTube, is powered by a 1GHz CPU and chipsets from VIA Technologies and is equipped with a 2.8-inch display from Toppoly Optoelectronics. The device can perform normal notebook functions under the Linux OS, the EDN quoted data from the STAG.
