“Rolling out world wide for Wave S8500 users, official Samsung Bada’s twitter account has “announced” an upcoming major OS upgrade with Bada version 1.2. The firmware upgrade will be first released to SIM-free Wave users in Europe, follow by the rest of the world. It did not mention a detail schedule though, expect to see the complete roll out finish by end of Q1 next year. Some of you might have already got the first taste of a few unofficial Bada 1.2 firmwares. These were leaked as early as 2 months back in October. Samsung had only completed the Bada 1.2 SDK for the software developers, bringing more supported API, WiFi-EAP, push notification, improved soft keyboard and bug fixes. Detail of the changes should be made known when the firmware is available next year.” via slashphone.com
