The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been announced. It is the company’s new high-end smartphone, which is a part of the Galaxy S25 series of devices. It’s the fourth phone that Samsung announced in that family, following the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Those three devices were announced in January, when this phone was teased. Well, we had to wait a bit for its full launch, as it was not announced until mid-May 2025.
With that being said, the Galaxy S25 Edge does share the same processor as its predecessor, and some other details. However, it’s thinner, that’s its main selling point. Even though the other three phones are quite thin, Samsung felt like this one was necessary, and decided to thin it up to 5.8mm. That did, however, affect its battery life, which is something we’ll talk about later on. So, let’s get to it, starting with the specs.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge does offer rather powerful specs. It comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440) Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. That display supports an adaptive refresh rate from 1-120Hz. It’s protected by the Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
