Bethesda has unveiled the “first major patch” for DOOM: The Dark Ages today in the form of “Update 1”, which introduces game balance refinements, improves the audio mix and fixes a range of pesky bugs.
All of these changes apply to every platform, meaning they’re available for PC and PS5 players as well as Xbox console players, and a couple of the most notable ones include the aforementioned audio mix adjustment along with “updated” dragon combat mechanics that attempt to provide a more “swift” experience overall.
