The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has saved the life of a Ukrainian soldier. This story comes from Reddit, and it shows a picture of the device as well. The phone managed to stop some shrapnel in order to protect its owner.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra took a bullet to save a solder’s life
Needless to say, the shrapnel did destroy the phone, but that’s a small price to pay. As you can see in the image below, some shrapnel landed in the top-left corner of the phone.
Not only did the phone save his life, but he won’t have to pay for a new one either. Samsung reached out to the owner and said that they’ll take care of the repairs for free. Truth be told, providing him with a new device may be the way to go. This one seems to be gone.
As a reminder, the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with a frame made out of titanium, while it has Gorilla Glass Armor 2 on the front and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back.
