Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have announced that Operation Firestorm is making a return to Battlefield 6, and will be available from launch.
“A Battlefield classic returns. Fight for control over a burning oil field with infantry, tanks, helicopters and jets. Play Operation Firestorm on October 10,” reads the official blurb.

Operation Firestorm is a fan-favourite map that was previously seen in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4: Secondary Assault. In its original incarnation in Battlefield 3, Operation Firestorm is set on an oil field in Azadegan, Iran, where the United States Marine Corps are engaged with the Russian Army. Its inclusion in Battlefield 4: Second Assault dissimilar in terms of location and the armies involved in the conflict, but now features various open fires and explosive objectives.
