Microsoft has today revealed the next batch of five games set to leave Xbox Game Pass in early November, with these titles appearing in the “Leaving Soon” section of the Game Pass tab on the official Xbox mobile app.

Stalker 2 is the major one here, set to leave a year after making its grand debut on the service. Frostpunk is also a big-name loss, although it’s since been replaced by Frostpunk 2, and Football Manager 2024 is being replaced by 26.

Earlier this month, the PS5 exclusivity window for Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 Remake finally expired – and a new ESRB Rating suggests that the game’s Xbox release is imminent.

Yep, Silent Hill 2 has now been rated for Xbox Series consoles, with the ESRB giving the game an expected Mature 17+ rating. There’s no release date attached its Xbox rating, but given that PlayStation’s timed exclusivity expired in early October, we’d expect to see it fairly soon.

Microsoft’s latest fiscal report is in.

Microsoft has released its financial results for Q1 of the 2026 fiscal year – and just like recent quarters, content and services are on the up, but hardware sales are drastically down.

The Xbox owner says that its content and services revenue increased by 1% year-over-year, while its hardware sales dropped 29% on the same time last year. This has become a common story in recent years as Microsoft continues to shift its gaming focus away from pure console sales.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Performance Is Impressive But Xbox Series S Visuals Suffer, Says Digital Foundry

Ninja Gaiden 4 launched a week ago today on Xbox Game Pass, and now the folks over at Digital Foundry have delivered their latest tech review on Platinum’s new slasher – and the title is turning in mixed results on Xbox Series X|S.

First off, performance is looking very good in this analysis overall, with the game offering 30, 60 and 120FPS options on Series X – as we noted in our Pure Xbox review. DF mentions that the game hits these targets pretty consistently, going on to recommend the 60FPS option as their preferred way to play (we liked the 120 mode!).
