HP introduces 3 new communicators in Asia

“HP has introduced 3 new iPaq models in Asia – the hw6965 GPS-communicator and ultra compact rw6818 and rw6828. The last two devices have the same design and are considered to rival with O2 XDA Atom communicator, they have been rumored for some time in the Internet. Dimensions are 102x58x19.5 mm. The rw6828 differs from the other model in the integrated support of Wi-Fi wireless networks. Both communicators feature tri-band GSM networking, a 2.7” QVGA (240×320 pixels) LCD, Bluetooth and IrDA interfaces, a 2-megapixel camera, an FM-tuner, a miniSD slot. They are powered by Windows Mobile 5.0. The sales of the rw6818 and rw6828 are expected late in May. The GPS-communicator hw6965 is made as a candy bar with the QWERTY-keyboard and is a heir of the hw6515. It is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 working on Intel PXA270 416 MHz processor.
