Acer MP340 MP3 player does video too

“It seems that releasing a simple portable music player just isn’t enough anymore, and regardless of the size of your display, you absolutely have to include some sort of video-loving capability in there. The latest is the MP-340 from the folks at Acer, a unit that you should probably only use for jamming away to tunes, but if you’d like, you can also watch a wide assortment of movies on its 1.8-inch TFT display. Bear in mind that while it offers 262k colors, the resolution is a fairly abysmal 160 x 128 pixels. Not exactly the best out there (not the worst either), but I guess it’ll have to do, considering just how portable this thing is at 95 x 65 x 20.6mm and 148 grams. A multi-functioning unit, the Acer MP-340 also throws down voice recording, a picture viewer, an eBook reader, a couple of games, and even Sudoku. Rounding out the features are USB 2.0, a 1.8-inch 20GB hard drive, and SD/MMC expansion. We’re still waiting on an announcement regarding pricing and availability, so you’ve got some time to get your squinty-eyed look ready.” via mobilemag.com
