Toshiba unveils touchscreen PDA with dual displays

“It looks to be the size of an ultraportable notebook, but there is one distinct difference. The latest innovation from Toshiba replaces the keyboard with a touchscreen display, in effect giving you a dual-display PDA.There aren’t a lot of details surrounding this “e-book conceptual design”, but from what I can gather, it will run on some form of Windows CE. Your primary interface will be with the lower screen, whereas your primary information will be shown on the upper display. I have a feeling that the technology running this device is just a touch more powerful than the other dual-screened machine on the market: the Nintendo DS Lite. No word on internal memory, but the SD memory card slot features quite prominently on the left-hand side.Is this meant to compete against the UMPC? Maybe.” via mobilemag.com
