Review navigation GSM communicator Mio A700/A701

“The key and the only distinction between Mio A700 and A701 is design and shell material, other changes are of minor importance. So, we decided to speak about Mio A701 and add some stipulations if necessary.A701 is made of a high quality uneven plastic. There is little of glossy black plastic around the screen and the camera, besides the front panel buttons are made of it. Surprisingly the assembly quality is high, there is no backlash, which makes good overall impression. This is a positive change, especially if we remember old Mio models featuring poor assembly quality.Due to compact size and grooves at sides the device lies comfortably in hand. This isn’t the smallest or lightest one on the market, but if we consider devices with the integrated GPS, it is the second after HTC P3300. ” Read more here:

Tune loving, touchscreen sporting NEC N6206/N908

“Rocking a touchscreen display but eschewing a standard keypad altogether is the all-new NEC N6206 (also dubbed the N908) cell phone being showcased at ITU Telecom World 2006. Your primary controls are via the touchscreen interface, but from there you’ll be able to boot up the integrated music player, load up its Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and preview those snazzy snapshots you’ll be taking with the built-in camera (there is a separate shutter button, thankfully). They’ve kept the package quite slim at just 12.8mm thick, while keeping the 260k color display an ample size (2.2-inch QVGA). Other key features include a microSD expansion slot, handwriting recognition, email, scheduler, 150 minutes of talk, and 110-150 hours of standby.” via mobilemag.com
