Sharp Launching Aquos SH 12C 3D

“Covering Japanese handsets has both its ups and downs. The up part is of course seeing some very cool technology, but then we hit the down part because usually that technology is not available to those of us not residing in Japan. Sadly this is one of those occasions … The device in question is the Sharp Aquos SH-12C 3D. The catchy name aside you may notice the 3D part at the end. That’s there for a reason. It’s a 3D enabled handset. Duh! The handset is running Android, Gingerbread to be exact, and under the hood you will find a nippy 1.4 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM to back it up and 2 GB of internal memory. The display weighs in at a hefty 4.2 inches (540×960) and of course there are dual cameras for capturing 3D images (each camera packing in 8 MP by the way). Connectivity wise the usual suspects are present e.g. HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth, etc. So if you live in Japan great stuff. For the rest of us time for a sad face. :(” via mobile-review.com
