Windows Phone Marketplace hits 50,000 apps

Windows Phone reached a key milestone this week. Microsoft’s Windows Marketplace now has more than 50,000 apps. Of these, 17,276 were added in the last 90 days and 8,010 were added in the last 30 days, All About Windows Phone reports.Though still far behind iOS and Android in terms of number of apps, it seems that Windows Phone is trying to catch up their rivals.
