Xiaomi Mi 5X review

“The Xiaomi Mi 5X was touted as the first smartphone to get the new MIUI 9 right out of the box and we think it makes a decent headline. Is it the key feature though? Well, if we were to decide, we would’ve focused on the camera instead.
But you know, near-flagship-camera-for-less-money isn’t exactly the blurb that will earn the marketing department’s money. Plus, it’s not the exact same dual-camera setup as the flagship Mi 6. It’s pretty close though and it’s cheap. The Xiaomi Mi 5X costs about the same as a Redmi Note 4, whose Snapdragon 625 chipset it’s using.” Read all here:

Dual-screen Yota3 is official with a sharper E Ink screen

“Well, the wait is finally over. After a teaser back in June, the third-gen dual-screen YotaPhone — now simply dubbed Yota3 — was unveiled in China yesterday. Pretty much all the main specs are identical to the leak Engadget received earlier, but this was our first time seeing this rounded metallic design. First and foremost, there’s a 5.5-inch 1080p Samsung AMOLED screen along with a 13-megapixel f/2.2 camera plus a fingerprint reader on the front. Flip the device around and you’ll see its headlining feature: a 5.2-inch 720p E Ink Carta II display — an expected upgrade from the previous 4.7-inch 960 x 540 screen — accompanied by three capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom. ” Read all here:

Samsung Galaxy Note8 review

“Samsung is playing it safe with the feature set too. There are no mind-blowing innovations in the Note8. The phablet is predictably sized and equipped, sporting a familiar, if slightly tweaked design. Even the dual-camera setup is by no means revolutionary. On the contrary, perhaps it’s even slightly overdue.” Read all here:

Meizu Pro 7 Plus review

“Meizu is back in the big game. After the impressive Pro 5, the company’s flagship line seemingly took a step back with the Pro 6 and Pro 6 Plus. And just when we feared that Meizu might be giving up on the premium niche, it’s ready to wow us with the Meizu Pro 7 Plus: a dual-screen dual-camera flagship that will stand out in any crowd.” Read all here:

Sony Xperia XZ1 review

“Sony was never a company to blindly follow trends, having its own approach to the mobile market. It’s a fact perfectly illustrated by the company’s latest flagship duo – the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, which you only need to look at once to recognize the Xperia pedigree. The 2017 Sony flagships proper combine the best elements across the lineup to try and cut themselves a solid piece of the holiday sales pie. “Read more here:

OnePlus 5 Review

OnePlus 5 Review

The OnePlus 5 is the newest phone by OnePlus, a company that in just three years has fought its way to become one of the recognizable names among flagship makers. It did so by word of mouth and a large group of dedicated fans, standing by its ‘never settle’ motto. Oh yes, and by making flagship-grade phones with top specs at affordable prices. The OnePlus 5, however, is its most expensive phone, and it’s got an iPhone inspired look and even a similar dual camera on the back. It is the company’s best and the company’s most controversial phone. Also, it’s the only one it makes, OnePlus’ all-or-nothing bet. Read more here:

Huawei P10 vs Huawei P9

Huawei P10 vs Huawei P9: Never change a winning team

The Huawei P9 was one of last year’s pleasant surprises – with its sleek design, snappy performance, and close to no gimmicks, it was a device that just does/ And the silver lining of all was that sweet dual camera setup at the rear that was co-engineered with Leica, the legendary camera company that is well-known for its high-quality optics. An excellent phone that we liked very much. Read all here:
